Alanna Kate was born at 4:06 p.m. today. She showed up in the world at 9 lbs and 7 ozs (and felt like more). She and mommy are both sound asleep, and hopefully will stay that way a little while longer. Me, I'll sleep in the morning. I'm just gonna watch them both a while... :) A couple more hours anyway, and then she'll be hungry again and there's not a lot I can do about that other than wake Arlene.

Kieran and his little sister, around six hours after she was born (and around six hours ago now)...

A TCP to do what? I'm afraid I'm not computer savy (preferable to geek) enough to even know what that means. I'm hoping that by the end of christmas he'll have burnt out. He's going to be here alone to do whatever he pleases, which probably won't be the PCRs and other "Gene-Jock" stuff he does for work that he should be doing. Thanks for the advice though. If I could, I might try it in a few days as an act of intervention!
